It’s hard to believe school starts back about a month. This new year will be filled with new faces and new experiences. There will be new hallways to walk for most of our students with the Middle and High Schools moving to the new Colonial Heights campus. Our elementary students will all be together again in the TCA building. Our Pre-K kids will be on the Boones Creek campus. Even more changes are coming in the next couple of years with the new TCA rising out of the ground even as I write these words. These are exciting times for which we give thanks to Almighty God.
However, our focus will always remain on providing a Christ-centered education, equipping and developing students with a biblical worldview and a heart for Christ that they may grow in wisdom, stature and in favor with God and man. We highly value each of you and your children and rejoice we can walk this journey together.
I thank God for providing new ways for families throughout the area to have a Christian education for their children. Let us join with the Psalmist who wrote, “Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice!”
To God be the glory,
Dr. Robert Brown, Executive Director – Lakeway Christian Schools

Wisdom is a gift from God, and Scripture calls us to pursue it with diligence and devotion. In Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, he exhorts the church with these words: “Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise.”
(Ephesians 5:15). This command is more than just a suggestion—it is a call to live with intentionality, seeking God’s direction in every aspect of life.
As we enter the 2025-2026 school year, I am excited to share with you our theme: Walking Wisely. This theme is rooted in the belief that true wisdom is not just about knowledge but about applying God’s truth in our daily lives. As a school, we want to cultivate wisdom in our students, our families, and our staff by emphasizing four key pillars:
Discernment – The ability to distinguish truth from falsehood, good from evil, and right from wrong. In a world filled with competing voices, we desire to equip our students to filter everything through the lens of Scripture and to seek God’s wisdom in their decisions.
Courage – Walking wisely means walking boldly. Wisdom gives us the confidence to stand firm in our faith, even when it is countercultural. We pray that our students will develop the courage to follow Christ wholeheartedly, even in the face of adversity.
Integrity – True wisdom is marked by character. We want to foster an environment where honesty, responsibility, and moral uprightness define who we are. Integrity means living in such a way that our actions align with God’s truth, even when no one is watching.
Understanding – Wisdom is not just about making good choices; it is about truly knowing God and His ways. Through deepening our knowledge of Scripture and growing in our relationship with Christ, we seek to develop understanding that shapes how we live and love others.
As we embrace this theme, my prayer is that every member of the Lakeway Christian Schools family—students, parents, faculty, and staff—will commit to walking wisely, allowing God’s truth to guide our paths. May we be a people who seek Him above all else and reflect His wisdom in our homes, classrooms, and communities.
Looking forward to a year of growing in wisdom together!
