Here at Tri-Cities Christian we strive to teach students that the definition of Art, is the artistic creation of something that will glorify the father. Going even further, the students will be reminded that just as we are called to pick up our cross and follow Christ, we are called to BE like him too. This includes creating just as the father does. Art will be offered at the elementary, middle, and high school level. High school is divided into two portions Art 1, and 2. Students will learn the foundational elements of art, such as Line, Value, Perspective, Design, Color, Shape, and texture. In this process they will be working in various mediums such as, charcoal, ink, oil painting, clay, acrylics, fibers, and so much more!
